Amy Loth, primary college admissions counselor of All Educational Consulting, has been advising and teaching high school and college students for 30 years. She is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC).
She is a career educational advisor with extensive experience in higher education, K-12 schools (in-person and virtual) and college admissions advising.
Amy was born and raised in Connecticut and obtained her Bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Upon graduation from Mount Holyoke, she began her career in education as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. Amy obtained her Master's degree in Education Policy from the University of Montpellier.
Amy served as the Director of the Mount Holyoke, Amherst and Williams College study abroad consortium program in France. Among her responsibilities, she managed student advising, recruitment and admissions to selective US partner colleges.
Amy resides with her family in Orlando, Florida. She holds a professional educator certificate in Florida and has taught AP French in top-rated high schools in Lake County and Orange County, in addition to FLVS (Florida Virtual School).
Her experience as a virtual school teacher is one of her valued strengths as a skilled and engaging college consultant via Zoom.
She is a lifetime student of colleges. When she is not talking with students and their parents, she is joyfully reading articles and listening to podcasts about college admissions to stay up to date.
